Job Description

To assist the Head Master/ Mistress in the following administrative duties:

1. Checking attendance register of staff and students. 

2. Maintain clean school environment. 

3. Allocation of duties to teachers and monitor their performance. 

4. Allocation of duties to domestic staff and monitor their performance. 

5. Handling emergency cases, sickness in school.

6. Assist the Head in conducting admission test at the branch. 

7. Assist the Head in issuance of circulars, newsletters etc.

8. Maintain withdrawal records, lab stock, and sports equipment inventory. 

9. Maintain staff and students directory, 

10. Supervise the Office Assistant in filing and maintenance of records. 

11. Check requisitions of stationery ordered and receipt.

12. Conduct orientation of new teachers for systems and academic policies. 

13. Sending notice to parents with the Head’s consent for students who are continuously absent. 

14. In-charge of the break assembly.

To assist the Head Master/ Mistress in the following academics duties:

1. Teach at least 8 periods in a week. 

2. To conduct teacher evaluation by means of class observations, copy checking and other evaluative procedures. Provide them guidance where required/

3. Keep up to date with curriculum developments and ensure that all members of staff are aware of new initiatives and how they are going to be implemented. Provide support to them.

4. Maintain the soft board of school.

5. Arrange appointments with parents of weak students. 

6. Assist the Head in preparing time tables. 

7. To arrange meetings and maintain minutes of meetings. 

8. Planning and organizing extracurricular activities. 

9. To prepare for Midyear and Annual Exams. 

10. Calculation and checking of remarks on duplicate reports. 

11. Assist in syllabus break-up, and monitoring. 

12. Coordination of course coverage. 

13. Substitute for absent teachers and maintain substitution logbook.

14. Provide feedback to Head regarding students and stall to ensure smooth communication.

15. Carry out regular assessment of students’ performance and analysis of data.
